Dark Brightness

I looked up and liked how the clouds were hiding the sun. But I could only keep my eyes open for two seconds or so, because the sky was so bright.

But when I let my camera set the exposure (at ISO 80) it showed these cloud portions so dark... contrasting with the almost perfect whiteness of the thin clouds in the upper half of the picture.

Interesting how our eyes adapt to light so fast that we don't even notice the photoshop work inside our brain.
